On July 19th, a delegation from Sinotrans Overseas Development Company Limited, part of China Merchants Group, led by Pan Sansheng, General Manager, Wang Yuzhou, Deputy General Manager, and Chang Ruisheng, General Manager of the Africa Region, visited the Cote d'Ivoire Company of Mainland Group for an inspection and business exchange. The event was attended by Zhu Chen, Chairman of Mainland Group, Deng Xiaoxia, Deputy General Manager of Yueyang Guansheng Company, and other representatives.
Mr. Zhu Chen warmly welcomed the visit of General Manager Pan Sansheng and his delegation,guiding them through a tour of Mainland Group's Rubber Factory No. 1 and No. 3 in Cote d'Ivoire. He provided a detailed overview of Mainland Group's operations in the rubber industry of Cote d'Ivoire, as well as the group's business activities across Africa. He expressed that Mainland Group and Sinotrans Overseas Development Company Limited share many synergies in the development of overseas business, with broad prospects for future cooperation. He hopes that both parties will enhance communication, leverage their respective strengths, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and join hands to achieve high-quality development.
Mr. Pan Sansheng outlined the business operations of Sinotrans Overseas Development Company Limited, emphasizing the company's strengths in overseas warehousing and logistics. He expressed the intention to proactively identify synergies with Mainland Group and to enhance business collaboration, particularly in countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative, thereby providing robust support for Mainland Group's pursuit of high-quality development.
Subsequently, the two sides carried out in-depth discussions on the cooperation of overseas warehousing and logistics projects in Africa and reached an agreement. Both sides said that they would further strengthen communication and cooperation, in order to actively facilitate the implementation of these projects in Africa, aiming for a mutually beneficial outcome.
